LOCATION:

3994 Mt Lindesay Highway, Park Ridge

You will find us on a half of an acre of land with our house and the catteries at Park Ridge, just South of Browns Plains.

Just follow Beaudesert Road south. At Browns Plains its name changes to Mt Lindesay Highway, but is the same road. Just south of Browns Plains, the Main Roads Department is doing road works. At Park Ridge they are building an overpass for Park Ridge road. Three kilometres south of this overpass there is another overpass for Granger and Stoney Camp roads. Take the exit at this overpass. This leads to a round-about. Take the first exit and head north on the service road. We are 500m up on the right hand side, 3994 Mt Lindesay Highway.

OWNERS of the CATTERY:

John and Janice Sandercock have been the owners since July 2003. We have been breeding Birman cats for eleven years, and are both devoted cat lovers. (See our Birman cat website)

Since owning the cattery we have made some improvements to enhance the comfort and happiness factor for the boarders (The cats- they come first)

FACILITIES:

The accommodation consists of walk in pens which are 2m by 1.5m. This is twice the size recommended by RSPCA guidelines for the housing of cats. The cats have two levels to jump up on. They usually sleep on the higher shelf, and from there they have access to their "garden box" or veranda.

Aussie Pet Enclosures have added "garden boxes" to all of the pens. A "garden box" is a caged platform attached to the outside of the pen with a connecting cat door into the pen to allow the cat to go out and sit outside and watch the birds.

.

There is also a play area, with tree trunks to scratch, at the end of the cattery. Those more active cats who want to venture out of their pens can go to the play area during the day

RADIO:

The cats listen to ABC local radio all day, and so do we.

GARDENS:

The garden around the cattery has many native bird attracting plants. Many different species of birds visit our garden, much to the delight of the watching cats.

VIP (very important pussycat) SUITES :

We have added four VIP luxury suites , each with air-conditioning, and private outside courtyard.

Click here for a virtual walk through of the VIP suites.
